Balkan Crossover

With upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays Hungarian Embassy in Sofia, Hungarian Cultural Institute, Sofia Municipality and Bulgarian Musical Society want to donate to the Bulgarian public one very interesting and exiting international art project Balkan Crossover. Balkan Crossover is a musical project which contains in itself the sounds of live folklore Bulgarian singing, organ, and traditional Hungarian and Bulgarian instruments. The participants in this cultural project are the world famous player of organ Laszlo Fassang (Hungary), Women’s choir THE GREAT VOICES OF BULGARIA (18 singers), conductor Ilia Mihaylov, Balazs Szokolay Dongo (Hungary – pipe, flute, saxophone). The message of the concert is subjected to the conception that the most important thing in making music is the understanding of different musical worlds and their combining in one thought, one idea, in one new and different sound.

Balkan Crossover was presented for first time on 11th of March 2010 in concert hall Bella Bartok, Palace of Arts, Budapest and had a great success. Our expectations for the presentation of the project in Bulgaria are very positive. Bulgarian cultural public always has been open to new and interesting art events, which go beyond the borders of purely traditional and show the modern face of folklore heritage.

Hungarian Embassy in Sofia, Hungarian Cultural Institute, Sofia Municipality and Bulgarian Musical Society are planning to present Balkan Crossover in Bulgaria Hall (Sofia Philharmonic) on 9th of January 2011 as a traditional New Year’s concert of Hungarian Embassy for the Bulgarian public. Since 1st of January 2011 Hungary takes over the presidency of European Union and this international project will be the first official European cultural event for 2011. For the realization of the project Balkan Crossover in Sofia the Hungarian Embassy in Sofia, Hungarian Cultural Institute, Sofia Municipality and Bulgarian Musical Society has provided partial but not enough financing. Therefore we decided to turn to you with suggestion to take a part in the realization of the project by one of sponsorship packages proposed below in the letter.

ADVERTISING PRESENCE:

• Presence of the company logo on other advertising materials for the event

• Opportunity to present company products from own promo teams before and after the event

• Presence of the company logo and information for the company on the web site of Bulgarian Musical Society – before, on time and after the event

• Actively communicating the name of the Sponsor during the media coverage of the event

• Any other form of advertising that doesn’t conflict with the concept

Regardless of the amount of sponsorship Bulgarian Musical Society as an organization registered on the Low of Patronage will issue a contract and certificate for donation by which the sponsor will use tax reliefs.
